Since 1995, we have been dedicated to providing inclusive, culturally sensitive services and advocacy for People of Color with developmental disabilities and their families in Oakland and beyond.
The All People of Color Developmental Disabilities Association (APOCDDA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to address the unique challenges faced by People of Color with developmental disabilities.
We recognize the systemic disparities in access to quality care, diagnosis, and culturally competent services. Our mission is to empower individuals and families through advocacy, education, and direct support services that honor cultural identity and promote inclusion.

Founded in 1995, APOCDDA has been at the forefront of addressing disparities in developmental disability services for Oakland’s communities of color. We are a trusted resource for families navigating the challenges of developmental disabilities.
Our organization is led by Principal Officer Angeleter Pringle and governed by a dedicated Board of Directors who bring lived experience and professional expertise to our mission.
We maintain our 501(c)(3) status with the IRS (EIN: 87-1834669) and are registered with the California Attorney General’s Registry of Charitable Trusts.
As a verified Google Nonprofits member, we have access to free Google tools like G Suite, Google Ad Grants, and YouTube for Nonprofits to further our mission.
